Fourth developer beta of macOS Ventura is now released by Apple.

Apple is currently on the fourth wave of betas for macOS Ventura version 13.0, with developers able to download a new release for their devices. macOS Ventura, which was introduced at WWDC 2022, is the most recent version of macOS, the operating system that runs on Mac. macOS Ventura is a substantial upgrade that brings a new multitasking experience, revamps a number of applications, and adds updated capabilities across the platform.

The most recent builds are available for download through the Apple Developer Center or via an over-the-air update for devices running beta software. On the Apple Beta Software Program website, public betas often appear a few days after developer versions.

The third beta for developers was released on July 6. The second developer beta was released on June 22, two weeks after the WWDC keynote on June 6. This fall, the final public version will be anticipated to be released.

The fourth beta is version 22A5311f, which replaces version 22A5295h. Apple recently advises that betas not be installed on primary devices due to the potential of data loss and other concerns. Instead, testers should install betas on secondary or non-essential devices and ensure that they have adequate backups of critical data before updating.

On the other hand, Stage Manager is a new feature in macOS Ventura that enables users to concentrate on one task while keeping other apps available for quick task switching.  The update introduces Continuity Camera, which enables you to utilize your iPhone as a webcam for your Mac. It enables Center Stage, Desk View (for displaying your desk), and Studio Light.

FaceTime now supports Handoff, allowing you to switch calls between your iPhone, iPad, and Mac at any time. Messages also offers the ability to mark an iMessage as unread, unsend an iMessage, and mark as unread. The Messages app now supports SharePlay as well.

There are now Weather and Clock applications available for the Mac, and the Mail application offers scheduling and erasing of sent emails for up to 10 seconds. Other than that, Safari now supports Shared Tab Groups, and Apple is developing Passkeys, a next-generation credential that will eventually replace the password.
