If there’s one thing students (and parents) are always looking for, it’s a device that actually makes studying feel less overwhelming. With the launch of the XPAD 30E, Infinix is clearly aiming to step into that role positioning this tablet as a practical, everyday learning companion rather than just another screen.
A tablet built around learning, not just entertainment
Starting from RM699, the XPAD 30E focuses heavily on educational support. It comes preloaded with access to more than 120,000 learning resources, covering a wide age range from early childhood up to secondary school. Instead of being a general-use tablet with a few educational add-ons, this one leans fully into structured learning, think textbook-aligned content, exercises, and a mix of subjects that go beyond just academics.
The built-in Learning Center app includes over 30 subjects and a variety of formats like songs, animations, and stories. It’s designed to keep younger users engaged while still supporting more serious study needs as they grow.
AI that guides, not just answers
One of the more interesting aspects is the AI Tutor system. Rather than simply giving direct answers, it walks students through problems step by step especially for subjects like math. The idea here is to build understanding, not dependency.
There’s also a Photo to Solution feature, where students can snap a question and get guided help. With Student Mode enabled, the system avoids shortcuts and focuses on explaining the process. Parents, on the other hand, can switch to Parent Mode depending on how the device is being used.
On top of that, features like Smart Search and AI Enlightenment allow users to interact with content more intuitively whether it’s recognising objects, translating text, or searching by circling something on the screen.
Designed for focus (and a bit of fun too)
To help minimise distractions, the tablet includes EduDesk, a dedicated learning interface that replaces the usual home screen with a cleaner, study-focused layout. It also comes with over 6,000 instructional videos and a curated set of educational games.
That said, it’s not all serious. With apps like Google Classroom, Google Kids Space, Google Play Books, and YouTube Kids pre-installed, the XPAD 30E still balances learning with entertainment in a controlled way.
Big screen, long battery, and everyday practicality
On the hardware side, the tablet features an 11-inch FHD+ display with eye-care certification to reduce blue light exposure useful for long study sessions. The 7,200mAh battery is built to last through a full day, while 4G SIM support means students aren’t tied to Wi-Fi.
It also supports multitasking features like split-screen and drag-and-drop, which can actually make a difference when juggling notes, videos, and assignments at the same time.
Durability is another focus here. The device has gone through multiple stress tests and comes with a protective TPU case, making it more suitable for everyday use by younger users.
Storage and variants
The XPAD 30E is available in three colours; Dream Purple, Forest Green, and Deep Blue and comes in two configurations:
- 8GB + 128GB (RM699)
- 16GB + 256GB (RM999)
Final thoughts
The XPAD 30E isn’t trying to be everything at once. Instead, it sticks closely to one purpose: making digital learning more structured, accessible, and manageable for students. With its mix of curated content, AI-assisted learning, and practical hardware features, it’s clearly designed with both students and parents in mind.
