The company confirmed : Moto X30 Pro will support 125W rapid charging

Motorola is preparing to release its flagship Moto X30 Pro smartphone. The smartphone will be released in China alongside the Moto Razr 2022 on August 2nd, 2022, and will be the brand’s first to have the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The smartphone is also said to include a 200 MP primary camera. Motorola has announced that the Moto X30 Pro will enable 125W fast charging prior to its release.

Chen Jin, Lenovo China’s General Manager for the mobile phone division, has confirmed that the Moto X30 Pro would enable 125W fast charging, making it the quickest charging Motorola smartphone to date. For those who are unaware, the Moto X30 ships with 68W fast charging capabilities, thus Motorola has made a huge leap. Chen demonstrated the 125W fast charger on the Chinese platform Weibo. Wireless charging is also expected for the Moto X30 Pro.

In terms of features, the Moto X30 Pro is rumored to include a 6.73-inch P-OLED curved display with a centrally-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and will most likely be combined with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS3.1 storage.

The Moto X30 Pro will be equipped with a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera, and a 60MP front camera. It is advertised as the world’s first 200MP camera phone. In terms of battery capacity, the Moto X30 Pro is expected to include a 4,500mAh battery with support for 125W fast charging through a USB Type-C charging connector. Finally, the Moto X30 Pro will come pre-installed with Android 12-based MyUI 4.0.
