OnePlus to release Nord 2T 5G & Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in Malaysia next week on 14th July 2022

OnePlus Malaysia has confirmed that it will release two new smartphones next week, on 14 July 2022, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G and Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. The brand has provided a glimpse of what we can anticipate from both devices when they arrive next week, but OnePlus global website has provided a comprehensive overview of what both models will feature.

Starting with the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, which is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 and features a completely upgraded chipset, users can anticipate a faster and more fluid experience, whether for high-graphics gaming or demanding multitasking, thanks to an octa-core CPU with speeds of up to 3 GHz. The phone also comes with 5G connectivity. Regarding its screen, it had a 6.43-inch Full HD AMOLED display that was capable of dynamically adjusting to a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

Additionally, the Nord 2T 5G is equipped with a rapid charging system which is comparable to a flagship model, thanks to its 80W SUPERVOOC capability. The camera configuration, which consists of a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor and AI Highlight Video feature, is believed to boost the phone’s photography capabilities, allowing it to produce the highest-quality low-light images with more details and realistic colours. Plus, it also sports a 32 MP camera on the front.

Furthermore, the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G has a 6.59-inch Full HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a speedy, energy-efficient CPU thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. In addition, the device will come preloaded with OxygenOS 12.1 that enables 5G connectivity. On the other hand, it has a 5000mAh battery capacity that is compatible with 33W rapid charging while it is also equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. 

The Nord CE 2 Lite also boasts a triple camera system with Nightscape mode, which consists of 64 MP as a primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens to create images that are clearer, more detailed, and free of noise and blur even in low light conditions. For the front-facing camera it has a 16MP snapper. It’s anticipated that Nord CE 2 Lite would be one of the least expensive 5G-ready smartphone options available in the market.
