Rumors suggest the Motorola Razr 2022 will be released to international markets.

The Motorola Razr 2022 was announced in China last month, and while it is unclear when Motorola will bring the device to markets outside of China, it seems likely that a global release is imminent given that the credible leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) has shared images of the device in English.

In other words, the leak indicates that the phone may be released internationally. However, we shouldn’t get too excited, as the leaker didn’t reveal much about the global availability. The new Razr 2022 was initially released in China last month with promotional materials that presented the display’s content only in Chinese, thus  there is no hint for a global release. 

Despite this, the most recent render showcases a lot of English text, which suggests that it may be intended for display on Motorola’s global website. Users in the United States will have a glimmer of hope to experience the new Motorola’s clamshell foldable, as reported by Android Central. This is due to the fact that its predecessor, the Motorola Razr 5G, has launched in the United States after a few weeks of China’s debut.

Furthermore, it has been reported that the Razr 2022 will likely be more accessible on the U.S. market, and its release in Europe is also probable. Those who are still looking for an alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip may want to consider the Razr 2022 as its getting a flagship chipset of a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 along with massive configuration storage options, including 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM, and 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM. As for the display, It has a 6.7-inch P-OLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a height-to-width ratio of 20:9 when it is open. The Quick View display on the outside of the phone measures 2.7 inches.

On the rear, there is a dual-camera setup on the new Razr 2022 consisting of a 50MP primary camera and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle and macro camera. There is a front-facing 32MP camera that can record slow-motion videos. In addition, it has a 3500mAh battery capacity, which is a significant improvement over the 2800mAh battery on its predecessor.
