Nothing Phone (3) Price Point Revealed, Flagship Ambitions Set for Summer 2025

Heads up, Nothing’s fans! During The Android Show: I/O Edition recently, Nothing CEO Carl Pei offered a glimpse into the pricing of the highly anticipated Phone (3). Pei announced that the device would retail for “somewhere around £800,” which translates to approximately $1,000.

This pricing suggests a significant step up for Nothing, positioning the Phone (3) as their “first true flagship smartphone.” The company has slated the launch for Summer 2025, promising users a device crafted with “premium materials” and boasting “major performance upgrades and software that levels things up.”

Core Philosophies

Beyond the pricing reveal, Carl Pei also took the opportunity at the annual software event to delve into Nothing’s core philosophies. He highlighted the company’s dedication to innovative design and hardware, emphasizing their ongoing close collaboration with Android. Pei also underscored the importance of their community-centric approach and the evolution of Nothing OS.

In a statement that encapsulates Nothing’s vision, Carl Pei articulated their approach to software integration. He explained that “Nothing OS is our vision for how AI should work, not just bolted on but built in. A system that learns from you and works with you, less of a menu, more like a teammate.” This suggests a deep integration of artificial intelligence within the operating system, aiming for a more intuitive and collaborative user experience.

Pei concluded by reiterating Nothing’s overarching ambition: “We’re building the tech company we wish existed, one that creates with its community and brings joy and originality back to the category.”
