Vivo Y52t powered by Mediatek Dimensity 700 SoC silently unveiled in China.

Vivo has recently introduced its newest pocket friendly smartphone, the Y52t, in China silently. Vivo Y52t is a successor of Vivo Y52 which was released last year. The smartphone reportedly comes equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, an 6.56-inch IPS LCD display, a dual rear camera, and other features.

In terms of pricing and availability, since it was officially released in China, the price is listed at CNY 1,299 (~RM850.00) for the standard storage variant of  8GB RAM + 128GB while the upper storage capacity of 8GB RAM + 256GB, is priced at CNY 1,499 (~RM980.00). It is available in three colourways – Peach, Blue, and Black whilst the official sale will begin on September 19th. However, global availability remains unknown for now. 

Moving further on specification, Vivo Y52t sports a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and up to 600 nits of peak brightness with a 60Hz refresh rate. Internally, it is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 1TB via a microSD card slot. There is also a built-in 5,000mAh battery capacity and 10W charging support.

As for the camera, the phone comes with a dual camera setup that features a 13-megapixel primary shooter, and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter. The front-facing camera has an 8-megapixel sensor, for taking selfies and interacting in video calling. Furthermore,  it runs on Android 12 OS with OriginOS on top. It is also equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and sports a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone has a thickness of 8.45mm and weighs about 198g.
