Vivo V25 series is officially introduced in Malaysia at a starting price of RM1399.

Today, Vivo Malaysia is finally unveiling the Vivo V25e and Vivo V25 5G, its latest premium mid-range smartphones for the V-series. As with its predecessor, these smartphones feature a beautiful design, a slim profile, premium specifications, and superior cameras. The company is reinstating the color-changing design that was a hallmark of the Vivo V23 series.

The new Vivo V25 series carries many similarities, including a 6.44-inch Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED display, as well as a 4500mAh battery with support for the 44W FlashCharge charger.

In fact, both devices are available in a single storage configuration with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, as well as support for up to 1TB of external SD card storage expansion via the secondary SIM card slot. The phones also offer the Extended RAM 3.0 technology from Vivo, which automatically allots up to 8GB of RAM from the internal storage for use as virtual RAM,

For the rear camera, both devices carried a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra wide angle camera whilst 2 MP for the V25e, and a 2MP Super Macro camera. Meanwhile, in contrast to the V25e which has a 32MP selfie camera, the V25 is equipped with a 50MP selfie camera where Vivo claims to be the highest resolution in the industry. Furthermore, both devices come with Vivo’s Bokeh Flare Portrait feature, which the company says would enhance the performance of snapping portraits during the day and at night. The Super Night Mode feature on the V25 is said to precisely restore the colors and brightness of nighttime photographs with high saturation levels.

Moving forward to its performance, the V25 features a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, 5G compatibility, and NFC functionality. In comparison, the V25e is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor and lacks 5G capability and NFC.

Other noteworthy features, the V25 and V25e will come in Diamond Black and Sunrise Gold, as well as Aquamarine Blue for the V25, which, according to Vivo, transforms from ocean blue to bluish green when exposed to UV light whilst the Sunrise Gold variant changing from gold to reddish orange.

To conclude, it’s offered in a different price tier as with the standard V25 pricing at RM 1,799 and the entry-level V25e is priced at RM 1,399. Prior to the official sale, which will commence on September 3, both versions are available for pre-order starting today onwards.
