The design of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus has been leaked online, revealing several modifications from its predecessor.

More leaks of Samsung’s next generation of flagship smartphones have begun to surface online since we have approached the end of the year, while at the same time, the new Galaxy S series is anticipated to be released by the Company in either January or February 2023. With the courtesy of the new render, we now have the first look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus, a part of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, which consists of Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra. 

As reported by reputable leakers OnLeaks (via Smartprix), a series of renders depicting the appearance of the Galaxy S23 Plus has been revealed. The design appears to be more refined and slender than its predecessor, with the most noticeable difference being the absence of the island on the rear camera array. However, the camera placement is similar to that of the Galaxy S22 Plus.

The Galaxy S23 Plus will also feature a 6.6-inch display and slightly larger dimensions than its predecessor, measuring 157.7 x 76.1 x 7.6mm. While the Galaxy S22 Plus measures 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6 mm, making it slightly larger but narrower than the Galaxy S22. In addition, the phone appears to have thinner bezels and a selfie camera located in a small punch hole at the top center of the display.

Surprisingly, the render did not depict a SIM tray at the bottom of the device. Still, Smartprix believes the actual device will have a SIM tray just like the Galaxy S22 Plus. In addition, the device will have a flat back panel, and the volume rockers and power buttons will be located on the right side. As well as having a speaker grille on the bottom and a USB-C port for charging.

Lastly, it is said that the Galaxy S23 Plus will support 25W fast charging like its predecessor and could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor or the Samsung Exynos 2300 processor. As of now, however, we must wait for additional information because its official release is still several months away.
