OPPO Pad Air, Reno8 series and Enco Air2 Pro has officially unveiled in Malaysia

After weeks of speculations, Oppo has finally taken the covers off and announced the OPPO Pad Air, the company’s first tablet for the Malaysian market, along with the Reno8 series and Enco Air 2 Pro earbuds.

The OPPO Pad Air is the brand’s first tablet to ever be sold in Malaysia. The tablet falls into the mid-range category and has a 10.36-inch 2K HD LCD display. It weighs only 440g and has a distinctive metal splicing design. The Pad Air’s internal hardware consists of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and 4GB of RAM. There is also a sizable 7100mAh battery, which according to OPPO can power 12 hours of movie watching and up to 15 hours of video conferencing throughout the day.

Aside from that, the Pad Air has stereo quad-speakers with Dolby Atmos compatibility. The tablet is powered by the newly improved ColorOS for Pad operating system, which is based on Android 12 and includes Multi-Screen Connect features like file drag and drop and clipboard sharing. In Malaysia, the Pad Air is available in two storage configurations; 64GB and 128GB, however keep in mind that the tablet offers additional storage via its microSD card slot and comes in a single Fog Grey color.

The standard Oppo Reno8 model, on the other hand, has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, is 7.67mm thick, weighs 179g, and comes in two trendy colors: Shimmer Gold and Shimmer Black. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor and has an internal storage capacity of 8GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM.

The top-tier Reno8 Pro features a 6.7″ Ultra-Clear AMOLED display with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. It’s also the thinnest smartphone to date, measuring 7.34 mm thick and weighing only 183 g, and it comes in two new stunning color finishes: Glazed Green and Glazed Black. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX processor and has an internal storage of 12GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM storage.

To enable users enjoy its all-around flagship features for a longer period of time, the latest Reno8 series includes a super fast 80W SUPERVOOC charger that can charge a 4500mAh battery to 50% in just 11 minutes or a 5 minute charge that is enough for 2 hours of mobile gaming.

Reno8 Pro 5G is packed with OPPO’s first self-developed, specialized imaging NPU, MariSilicon X, to deliver a range of revolutionary camera functions to allow customers snap ultra-clear photos in even the most challenging conditions. The Reno8 Series 5G’s rear camera uses the SONY IMX766 sensor, which provides a better portrait experience thanks to its huge 1/1.56-inch sensor size and capabilities like All Pixel Omni-Directional PDAF and DOL-HDR. Both Reno8 series include improved Dual Sony Flagship Sensors – the IMX709 for the front camera and the IMX766 for the rear camera – to further maximize the photography experience in low light settings.

In addition, OPPO also announced the debut of its most recent true wireless earbuds, the OPPO Enco Air2 Pro. It features a 12.4 mm titanized diaphragm driver, active noise cancellation (ANC), IP54 dust and water resistance, binaural Bluetooth 5.2, and intelligent touch controls, such as double-tapping the earbuds to take a photo. The OPPO Enco Air2 Pro can last up to 7 hours without its charging case and up to 28 hours with its charging case when streaming audio. It also features OPPO Flash Charging, where 10 minutes of charging is sufficient for two hours of listening. New ergonomic design features a smiling curve and is offered in two color options: grey and white.

Last but not least, the purchase price has been published publicly. The Reno8 5G and Reno8 Pro 5G will be priced at RM 2,399 and RM 3,499 respectively. The OPPO Pad Air will be available in 4GB + 64GB at RM1,099 and 4GB + 128GB at RM1,299. Also, the OPPO Enco Air2 Pro will be priced at RM349.
