It’s official! realme has unveiled the companion to its GT 7 Pro, GT 7 in China. This version utilizes a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus processor instead of Snapdragon and doesn’t have a telephoto lens. Nonetheless, the realme GT 7 makes up for these differences with a much bigger battery and a faster screen refresh rate.
The GT 7 features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 2800×1280 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, boasting impressive HDR and global peak brightness levels. Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus, and it includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. It also boasts an IP69 rating for protection against dust and water.
For photography, the GT 7 is equipped with a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera. It’s fueled by a substantial 7,200mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging and bypass charging. Interestingly, it also includes an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, a feature shared with the Pro model.
The base configuration of the GT 7, offering 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at CNY 2,600 (roughly RM 1,569). Currently, there is no information regarding its global release.
