HONOR 600 Series Lands First in Malaysia with Major Camera Upgrades

HONOR is stepping deeper into the flagship space with the upcoming HONOR 600 Series and Malaysia is getting the first look globally.

The brand has revealed an early preview of the device, showcasing a refined Golden White finish paired with a premium build crafted using cold carving techniques. The design signals a clear shift toward a more high-end identity, aligning with HONOR’s recent push into the flagship category.

A Flagship Design with Serious Camera Ambitions

At the core of the 600 Series is its upgraded camera system. It features a powerful 200MP main camera, continuing from its predecessor but enhanced to deliver sharper images and more accurate colors, especially in low-light conditions. Zoom capabilities have also been expanded to an impressive 120x, making it easier to capture distant subjects like architecture, wildlife, or portraits with fine detail.

A standout feature is its image stabilization. The telephoto lens achieves a CIPA 6.5 rating (the highest in the industry) helping reduce motion blur and enabling sharper handheld shots. Complementing this is a new AI Color Engine that processes images to produce more natural, true-to-life tones.

Strong Growth in Malaysia Sets the Stage

HONOR’s momentum in Southeast Asia has been significant, particularly with its previous lineup. The HONOR 400 Series recorded a 333% increase in sales in 2025, according to Counterpoint.

Malaysia has played a major role in this growth. The brand has rapidly expanded its presence and now ranks as the number one Android smartphone brand in the country. This success has been largely driven by strong demand in the premium yet accessible flagship segment.

With that in mind, it’s no surprise that Malaysia has been selected as the first global market to debut the HONOR 600 Series. While the official launch date hasn’t been announced yet, more details are expected very soon.
