For years, tech ecosystems have been like exclusive clubs. If you’re inside the Apple ecosystem, everything works smoothly together. iPhone, iPad, and Mac communicate effortlessly. But once you step outside that circle, things become complicated.
Now, one brand is trying to change that.
At HONOR, the latest announcements from Mobile World Congress 2026 introduce a major shift: direct connectivity between HONOR devices and Apple hardware. In simple terms, HONOR wants its devices to work with iPhones, iPads, and Macs without the usual friction.
This move aims to remove what many users call the “ecosystem wall.”
A New Cross-Platform Approach
HONOR revealed an updated ecosystem built around HONOR AI Connect, a system designed to make devices communicate across different operating systems. Instead of relying on cloud uploads, messaging apps, or email attachments, files can move directly between devices.

The ecosystem is built around three new flagship devices:
- HONOR Magic V6
- HONOR MagicPad 4
- HONOR MagicBook Pro 14 (2026)
Together, these devices introduce new ways to connect with Apple hardware.
Magic V6: Direct Transfer to Mac
The Magic V6 introduces OneTap Transfer, which allows users to send photos, videos, and documents directly to a Mac.
The process is simple: tap once and the file appears on the desktop.
Beyond file sharing, the phone’s interface can also be mirrored onto a Mac screen. This allows users to control or view their phone directly from their computer, making it easier to multitask between mobile and desktop workflows.
A typical scenario might look like this:
A presentation arrives on your phone through a messaging app. Instead of emailing the file to yourself, you transfer it instantly to your Mac and start editing on the larger screen.
MagicPad 4: A Flexible Creative Workspace
The MagicPad 4 focuses on creators and multitaskers.
It can pull files directly from an iPhone for editing, but it also works as a wireless extended display for a Mac. This creates a dual-screen setup without extra cables or adapters.
For example, someone editing photos or videos on a MacBook could keep the editing tools on the main screen while previewing the final output on the MagicPad 4.
This kind of setup helps when reviewing visual work, presentations, or detailed designs.
MagicBook Pro 14: Sharing Made Simpler
The MagicBook Pro 14 (2026) acts as the hub for collaboration.
Using HONOR Share, users can send documents, images, and presentations directly to iPhones or iPads with a single click. There’s no need to convert file formats or rely on multiple apps.
This feature could be useful in classrooms or meetings where many participants use Apple devices. A presenter using the MagicBook Pro 14 can distribute slides or reference materials instantly to everyone’s iPhone or iPad.
A Shift Toward Borderless Devices
HONOR’s new ecosystem is essentially about removing barriers between platforms.

Instead of forcing users to stay within one brand’s device family, the goal is to make different systems work together. A photographer could capture an image on the Magic V6, send it to a Mac for editing, and preview the result on the MagicPad 4, all within seconds.
If the system works as intended, it could change how people think about device ecosystems.
Coming Soon to Malaysia
The flagship trio; Magic V6, MagicPad 4, and MagicBook Pro 14 (2026), will be launching in Malaysia soon.
More details are expected to follow as the devices get closer to release, giving users a chance to experience cross-platform connectivity between HONOR and Apple devices firsthand.
