Xiaomi Unveils REDMI Note 15 Series, New Smart Ecosystem Products

Xiaomi has officially launched the REDMI Note 15 Series, introducing a four-model lineup that includes the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G, REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G, REDMI Note 15 5G, and REDMI Note 15. This generation is centered around “REDMI Titan Durability,” a design philosophy that combines high-end ruggedness with flagship-level performance. The series highlights significant advancements in battery technology, structural integrity, and AI-driven imaging, aiming to provide a seamless and reliable user experience for everyday challenges.

Unmatched Durability and Battery Life

The hallmark of the series is its enhanced resilience and power management. The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G debuts a 6,500mAh Silicon-Carbon (SiC) battery, offering higher energy density in a slim form factor. This battery supports 100W HyperCharge and is designed to retain 80% capacity even after six years of use. Structurally, the Pro models feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a multi-layer shock-absorbing design, allowing them to survive drops from up to 2.5 meters. Furthermore, the Pro models boast top-tier IP68 and IP69K ratings, ensuring they remain functional even after being submerged in two meters of water for 24 hours.

Flagship Imaging and AI Integration

Xiaomi has elevated the mobile photography experience by equipping the Pro models with a 200MP HPE image sensor. This system offers 2x and 4x in-sensor zoom and covers five different focal lengths, making it versatile for everything from landscapes to portraits. The standard REDMI Note 15 models are also well-equipped with a 108MP super-clear camera system, offering a 3× optical-level telephoto experience that covers perspectives from wide-angle shots to portrait close-ups. To complement the hardware, the entire series integrates advanced AI tools, including Google Gemini, Circle to Search, and AI-powered editing features like “AI Remove Reflection” and “AI Beautify.”

High-Performance Hardware and Immersive Displays

Under the hood, the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 platform and features the innovative Xiaomi IceLoop cooling system for sustained performance. Connectivity is also a priority, with the Pro models introducing offline voice communication that works over kilometer-level distances without network coverage. All models feature large, vibrant displays—up to 6.83 inches—with a peak brightness of 3,200 nits and high-frequency PWM dimming for eye comfort. Audio is equally impressive, with the Pro models offering a massive 400% volume boost.

Expanding the Ecosystem

Alongside the smartphones, Xiaomi introduced the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses and REDMI Buds 8 Lite. The audio glasses blend style with utility, offering open-ear audio, 13 hours of playback, and a privacy mode to reduce sound leakage. They are available in Titanium, Pilot, and Browline styles. Meanwhile, the REDMI Buds 8 Lite provides a budget-friendly audio solution featuring 42dB active noise cancellation (ANC), a 36-hour total battery life, and dual-device connectivity, ensuring high-quality sound for users on the go.

Pricing and Availability

The REDMI Note 15 series will be available starting January 16, 2026, across Xiaomi’s official stores, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop as well as DirectD. Customers who pre-order by February 21 can take advantage of exclusive discounts and free gifts. The Mijia Smart Audio Glasses and REDMI Buds 8 Lite are also available for purchase starting today.
