The world of Stranger Things may be nearing its end, but its impact on pop culture is far from fading. To mark the show’s final chapter, Samsung and Netflix have teamed up to give fans one more way to stay connected to Hawkins, this time, through their phones.
Starting January 12, Samsung Galaxy users across 186 countries can download a special Stranger Things theme and wallpapers from the Galaxy Store. The collection is free for a limited time for anyone who downloads or launches the Netflix app.
Since its debut in 2016, Stranger Things has become one of Netflix’s most influential series, shaping trends, reviving ’80s nostalgia, and building a global fanbase that spans generations. The release of Season 5, Part 1 on November 27, 2025 proved just how powerful the franchise still is. Within five days, it reached No. 1 in 91 countries and pulled in 59.6 million views, the strongest opening ever for an English-language Netflix series. It also made history by placing all five seasons in Netflix’s Global Top 10 at the same time, a record it held for five consecutive weeks. The entire final season is now streaming worldwide.
Samsung’s exclusive Galaxy content builds on that momentum. Available from January 12 through February 22, the pack includes one full theme and five wallpapers inspired by Season 5. Fans will recognize familiar faces and places, from the quiet streets of Hawkins to the eerie depths of the Upside Down.
Rather than just watching the story unfold, Galaxy users can now carry a piece of it with them, a subtle reminder of a series that defined an era and brought supernatural adventure into everyday life.
