vivo Malaysia has provided media representatives with an exclusive preview of the vivo X300 Series, during the brand’s latest BlueTalk technical session in Kuala Lumpur. The session focused on how vivo’s new flagship devices are pushing the boundaries of smartphone imaging and performance — combining a next-generation ZEISS 200MP telephoto camera with a fully reimagined OriginOS 6.
A New Era of Smartphone Photography

The main highlight of the vivo X300 Series is, without question, its ZEISS 200MP APO Super Telephoto lens. This camera setup isn’t just about numbers — it’s built with fluorite-grade glass elements in a floating periscope design, which effectively reduces color fringing and keeps shots sharp even at extreme zoom.
At the heart of this setup lies a custom Samsung HPB sensor, developed in collaboration with vivo’s imaging team. It supports true 4x lossless optical zoom, letting you capture distant details with zero digital compromise.

“This is our most advanced mobile imaging system yet,” said Keshav Chugh, Senior Product Manager of Image Effects at vivo Global. “The ZEISS 200MP APO Super Telephoto system delivers professional-grade clarity even from far away — while our computational photography engines ensure every image looks stunning.”
The X300 Series also features CIPA 5.5-level stabilization, inspired by professional gimbal systems, alongside the Blueprint Extreme Tracking Engine that locks onto moving subjects with pinpoint accuracy.
vivo’s own NICE 3.0 and MAGIC 2.0 algorithms further enhance image texture, color tone, and realism, ensuring every shot feels natural yet incredibly detailed.
OriginOS 6 — Built for Long-Lasting Smoothness

On the software side, vivo is introducing OriginOS 6, a major update that focuses on both visual elegance and performance endurance.
One of its standout features is Dual-View Stage Recording, allowing users to shoot with the front and rear cameras at the same time — perfect for vloggers or creators who want to show both perspectives at once. vivo says the system manages power and resources intelligently to keep things smooth even during long recording sessions.
Under the hood, Origin Smooth Engine works with SGS’s 5-Year Sustained Smoothness Certification, ensuring the phone stays fast and responsive even after years of use.
vivo has fine-tuned everything from kernel scheduling to memory management and motion rendering to keep the experience buttery smooth.
“We want technology to make life simpler, not more complicated,” said Yvonne, OS Product Manager at vivo. “OriginOS 6 is designed to be intelligent, efficient, and consistent — providing users with a seamless experience every single day.”
OriginOS 6 also introduces several new features:
- 🃏 Flip Cards – A customizable, card-style dashboard for quick access to daily info.
- 🌊 Origin Island – A beautiful, interactive notification hub that keeps everything on one screen.
- 💼 vivo Office Kit – A new cross-platform productivity suite for instant file sharing and communication between mobile and desktop.
The OS also improves AI-driven power management, ensuring users get more hours of usage without sacrificing performance.
Imaging + Performance = A True Flagship
With its ZEISS 200MP telephoto lens and the deeply optimized OriginOS 6, the vivo X300 Series is shaping up to be one of the most complete flagship phones on the market. It combines serious photography hardware with intelligent software that keeps things smooth, fast, and efficient.
This latest evolution marks vivo’s ongoing effort to redefine what a smartphone camera — and a smartphone experience — can be.
