OnePlus 15 lands in Malaysia with massive battery, triple-chip power & tougher-than-ever build

OnePlus has officially dropped its latest flagship, the OnePlus 15, and it’s easily one of the brand’s most ambitious phones yet. The company is positioning it as the “ultimate performance flagship”, combining top-tier hardware, upgraded cameras, smarter AI features and a noticeably more premium build. Priced at RM4,399 for the 16GB+512GB model, it’s now available nationwide.

Under the hood, OnePlus is going all-out with a triple-chip setup. You get Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a dedicated 3200Hz touch chip for super-responsive gaming input, and a separate Wi-Fi chip to keep your connection stable even in crowded areas. To keep things cool, the phone uses a 360 Cryo-Velocity Cooling System with aerogel and white graphite—basically, it’s built to sustain performance without throttling.

On the front, the OnePlus 15 sports a 1.5K 165Hz LTPO display, pushing both clarity and smoothness to flagship levels. Outdoor visibility hits 1800 nits, while TÜV Rheinland Eye Care 5.0 certification should make long screen time a bit easier on the eyes. The camera system relies on three 50MP sensors—a main OIS shooter, an autofocusing ultra-wide that doubles as a macro camera, and a periscope telephoto offering 3.5x optical and up to 7x lossless zoom. OnePlus adds its new DetailMax Engine for cleaner night shots, sharper action photos and higher-detail daylight images. For video, the phone supports 4K 120fps Dolby Vision, plus LOG video and real-time LUT previews for creators.

Powering everything is a huge 7300mAh Silicon NanoStack battery, rated to stay above 80% health even after four years. It charges at 120W SUPERVOOC (full charge in ~39 minutes) and supports 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging.

Design-wise, OnePlus is flexing hard this year. You get ultra-slim 1.15mm bezels, a flat frame with rounded edges and a tough build rated IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K—making it one of the most durable flagships on the market. Colour options include Infinite Black, Ultra Violet, and Sand Storm.
