Nothing Unveils First-Ever Pink Phone (4a) with Bold London Launch

Nothing has officially unveiled the new Nothing Phone (4a) in pink, marking the first time this vibrant colourway has been introduced across the company’s product portfolio.

According to Nothing, pink is more than just a new finish. The brand describes it as a reflection of expressive and optimistic technology — moving away from neutral tones and embracing influences from art, music, fashion, and pop culture that have long shaped its distinctive design language.

To celebrate the launch, Nothing rolled out several eye-catching activities across London. These include disruptive pink graffiti layered over flyposters in central London, featuring cultural references tied to the colour, as well as a pink graffiti takeover of the Nothing Store Soho window.

Lucy Birley, Colour, Material and Finish Design Lead at Nothing, shared insight into the inspiration behind the new shade. She highlighted how the team often revisits classic tech references, explaining that “pink is actually just desaturated red.” Birley added that placing the tint beneath the transparent layer creates a unique depth effect, as light interacts with the resin underneath, giving the device a lively and dimensional appearance while celebrating the intricate detailing within the transparent design.

More details about the Nothing Phone (4a) will be revealed during the “Nothing Event: Built Different,” which will be livestreamed from Central Saint Martins in London. The event will air on 5 March at 10:30 AM GMT via nothing.tech.
