Finally! Samsung has announced the Galaxy Z Fold7! It is their slimmest and lightest foldable phone to date, combining premium design, advanced camera features, and cutting-edge AI. • *Dimensions and Weight: The Z Fold7 weighs just 215 grams, making it lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It is 8.9 mm thick when folded and a mere 4.2 mm when unfolded.

When unfolded, the 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x main display is 11% larger than its predecessor, offering an expansive workspace for editing, multitasking, and immersive viewing. Samsung equips the Galaxy Z Fold7 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, a customized processor that significantly boosts on-device AI processing for tasks like real-time translation and Generative Edits. Compared to the previous generation, it offers a 41% increase in NPU, 38% in CPU, and 26% in GPU performance.

• *Ultra 200MP Camera: For the first time in the Galaxy Z series, the Z Fold7 features a 200MP wide-angle camera, capturing 4x more detail and producing images that are 44% brighter. It also includes a 10MP 100° camera on the main display for wide group selfies.
• *AI-Enhanced Imaging: Samsung’s next-generation ProVisual Engine processes images faster, optimizing lighting, detail, and realism. Features like Night Video reduce noise by separating moving subjects from still backgrounds, and 10-bit HDR provides richer color depth for videos.
• *Creative Editing Tools: The large display combined with AI-powered tools offers a professional creative studio experience. Photo Assist allows precise object manipulation, while Generative Edit is smarter with new Suggest Erases that automatically detect passersby. Side-by-Side Editing allows real-time comparison of original and edited images, and Audio Eraser proactively detects and removes unwanted background noise from video recordings.
