Honor has officially announced that its new foldable smartphone, the Magic V5, will be launched on 2nd July 2025. The unveiling will take place at a dedicated event in Shenzhen, China, commencing at 7 PM local time. The event is also anticipated to showcase other new devices from Honor.
Anticipated Features and Design
Based on GSMArena, the Magic V5 is expected to bring significant upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Magic V3. Key enhancements are rumored to include a substantial 6,100 mAh battery with 66W fast charging capabilities, a high-resolution 200MP periscope telephoto camera, and the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version chipset.
Furthermore, the Magic V5 is rumored to feature an exceptionally thin design, potentially measuring under 9mm. If confirmed, this would make it the thinnest foldable smartphone released to date, surpassing the Oppo Find N5’s 8.9mm thickness. The device is also expected to sport an 8-inch main display and a 6.45-inch cover screen.
